Walmart Marketplace management services, in detail.
A Walmart marketplace consultant and manager in one
Walmart Marketplace is the biggest US marketplace after Amazon, with far fewer third-party sellers competing for its shoppers. For brands already selling on Amazon or Shopify, it's often the most valuable next channel. It is also different enough from Amazon that copying your setup across rarely works.
Some brands need a Walmart marketplace consultant to tell them what to do. Others need someone to run the account. I do both: I plan the Walmart strategy with you, and my team at Technomiles carries it out day to day in Walmart Seller Center, with one weekly report and one person accountable for results.
- Is Walmart worth it for you?
- Pricing and fulfilment plan
- Written roadmap
- Daily work in Seller Center
- Listings, orders and ads
- One weekly report
Seller application, approval and onboarding
Walmart reviews every seller application. Approval depends on your business details, US tax information, your track record selling online, your product categories and how you plan to fulfil orders. A weak application can be turned down even when the brand is a good fit.
I prepare the application with you, make sure your catalog and fulfilment plan meet Walmart's expectations, and handle the onboarding steps once you're approved: account settings, shipping templates, return policies, tax settings and the integrations that connect Walmart to your inventory.

Walmart listing management and item setup
Walmart listing management starts with clean item setup. Every product needs a valid GTIN or UPC, the right product type, and all the required attributes filled in. We set up items in bulk through Seller Center spreadsheets or your integration, map variants properly, and fix the errors that stop items from publishing.
Then we write for Walmart search, not Amazon's: clear titles in Walmart's format, key features, detailed descriptions, every relevant attribute, and enough good images. Rich media and complete attributes feed Walmart's Listing Quality score, which affects how often your items are shown.
When items become unpublished, which happens for reasons ranging from pricing rules to missing attributes to trust and safety reviews, we find the reason in Seller Center and fix it, usually before you'd have noticed.
- Title in Walmart's format
- Key features buyers care about
- Every relevant attribute
- Valid GTIN or UPC
- Enough good images
Listing Quality, pricing and the Buy Box
Walmart gives every listing a Listing Quality score built from content, offer (price and shipping) and ratings and reviews. We work through the Listing Quality dashboard regularly, starting with your best sellers, because small fixes there move the most sales.
Price matters more on Walmart than almost anywhere else. Walmart compares your prices with the rest of the market and can unpublish items it considers unreasonably priced. We monitor pricing, use Walmart's repricer rules where they help, and keep an eye on who holds the Buy Box on shared listings.

Fulfilment: WFS or your own
You can fulfil Walmart orders yourself or use Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS). WFS items can earn faster delivery tags and two-day shipping badges, which help conversion, but they come with fees, inbound rules and storage costs to plan for.
I help you decide which products belong in WFS and which are better shipped yourself, then manage the inbound shipments, stock levels and replenishment. If you fulfil yourself, we set handling times and shipping templates you can always meet, because late deliveries hurt your account fast.
| Compare | WFS | Your own fulfilment |
|---|---|---|
| Who ships | Walmart | You or your 3PL |
| Delivery badges | Two-day and fast delivery tags | Depends on your handling time |
| Main costs | Fulfilment and storage fees | Your packing and shipping |
| Best for | Fast-moving, compact products | Bulky, slow or low-margin items |
| We manage | Inbound shipments and stock | Handling times and on-time shipping |
Performance standards and account health
Walmart holds marketplace sellers to strict performance standards: on-time delivery, valid tracking, a low cancellation rate, prompt replies to customers and a low refund rate. Falling below them can lead to warnings, unpublished items or suspension.
We check your performance dashboard every week, answer customer messages within Walmart's time limits, handle returns, and keep stock synced across Amazon, Shopify and your other channels so you never cancel an order because the stock was sold elsewhere. Strong performance also counts toward Walmart's Pro Seller badge.

Walmart Connect ads
New listings on Walmart rarely sell much in the first weeks without advertising. We run Walmart Connect Sponsored Search campaigns, starting with automatic campaigns to collect data and moving to manual keyword campaigns once we know what converts.
Budgets and bids are set against your margins, and we report on ad spend, ad sales and return on ad spend in your weekly update, alongside your total Walmart sales.
- Automatic campaignsCollect search data
- Find what convertsKeywords that sell
- Manual keyword campaignsScale the winners
Walmart management services alongside your other channels
Walmart works best as part of a multichannel operation, not as a separate project. Your catalog, stock and orders connect to the same system as Amazon and Shopify, whether that's a product information tool (PIM), a multichannel integrator or Shopify itself, and I choose the Walmart marketplace software that fits your setup rather than adding another tool for the sake of it.
The result is one operation, one weekly report and one person to call, whether the question is about Walmart, Amazon or your own store.

Common questions.
Walmart Marketplace is focused on the US market, so it's best suited to brands that sell and ship in the US.
A consultant reviews your products, pricing and fulfilment, tells you whether Walmart is worth it, and plans the setup. I offer that as part of my audit, and I can also run the account for you afterwards.
It varies. Some applications are reviewed within days, others take a few weeks. A complete application with a clear track record usually moves faster.
Common reasons include pricing outside Walmart's reasonable range, missing required attributes, image or content problems, and trust and safety reviews. Seller Center shows a reason for each item, and we fix them one by one.
WFS suits fast-moving products that benefit from two-day delivery badges. Bulky, slow-selling or low-margin items are often better shipped yourself. I look at the numbers for each product before recommending it.
Yes. Sponsored Search campaigns are part of Walmart Marketplace management, with budgets set against your margins and reported on weekly.
Yes. Walmart connects to Shopify and to most multichannel tools, so stock and orders stay in sync across every channel you sell on.
It depends on catalog size, order volume, whether you use WFS and whether ads are included. After a free call and a short audit, you get a written plan with a fixed monthly price.
